MONTHLY SET SUBJECT DEFINITIONS
Trains, Trams, Planes and Automobiles: An image of any form of mechanised transport.
Adelaide & Surrounds: Showcase our urban areas, from Aldinga to Gawler to Mt Barker. . As per the Adelaide UBD Street Directory. Entries may be used in the 2024 Camera Club Calendar.
Power of Rust: A photograph showing the Effects of rust in our environment.
Colour Yellow: A photograph with anything yellow that dominates the image. Manufactured or in nature. Spot colour may be permitted in Monochrome.
Abstract: A photograph showing showing a pictorial and pleasing arrangement of colours and shapes, which are both recognisable as know objects, although they may suggest any object or scene.

Seasonality: We have four seasons each year. Show us photographs that typically show us the season and what can happen in those seasons and how they are represented.
Repeating Patterns: Present a photograph of something that is manufactured or natural with repeating patterns.
Painted Walls: Show photographs of Art on walls (not vandalism) and their environment, within the Onkaparinga Council Region).

Set Subjects are for Digital Colour or Monochrome Prints and/or Projection Images, Camera or Phone.
MID-YEAR TROPHY COMPETITIONS
Must be new work, not seen in Club competitions previously
PRESIDENT’S PORTRAITURE TROPHY -- Prints: B/W or Colour
A posed picture of person(s) (male or female) which may range from just the head to a full length study and which may include accessories in character with subject (may be digital or film).
PETER STRAZDS LANDSCAPE TROPHY – Prints: B/W or Colour
A picture that features the natural scenery of the terrain. A tree or trees, people or buildings may be included but should not dominate the picture (may be digital or film).
DAVID MUNRO SEASCAPE TROPHY – Any Medium
A picture of natural coastal scenery, a wave study, or the open sea. Boats or other items of marine interest may be included.
RICHARD KEANE OPEN DIGITAL TROPHY – Prints: B/W or Colour
Any picture that has been captured digitally, or any picture that has been made into a digital image.
PRESIDENT’S ADVANCED DIGITAL TROPHY–Prints: B/W or
Colour
An image that shows not only a high level of camera craft, but also an outstanding degree of photo-editing knowledge. The image may appear to be heavily edited or not, as is deemed appropriate by the author.
Entries should be of relatively recent origin.

Nature Lovers Trophy: A picture of one or more non-domesticated animals, birds, reptiles, fish, spiders, insects, or crustaceans, photographed in a situation where it is “doing what it wants to, when it wants to, where it wants to.” Minimal evidence of the “hand of man” is allowable. The entry of an image to this competition implies that these conditions were met.
