SET SUBJECT DEFINITIONS
The Fluerieu Peninsula:
A photograph that could promote South Australia as a place worth visiting for the flora, fauna, landscapes, seascapes, and architecture, etc. If people are included they must not be recognisable for who they are. May be used in our Calendar.
Fast Shutter Speed:
An image where it is obvious that the capture must have been done with a shutter speed of 1/500th of a second or faster.
Weather: An image showing some phenomenon of weather, or the aftermath of a weather event.
An image where the centre of interest is in one of the following colours red, blue, green or yellow, or
where the image is dominated by one of those colours.
Set Subjects are for Digital (Colour & Monochrome) Prints only.
Members may enter up to two (2) Digital Images per category, 3 entries per Film and Phoneography categories, and 6 entries in the Slide Film category.
Slides, Phoneography and Film-based categories are Open subject at all times.
The Competition Secretaries have the right to refuse an entry.

The museum is a must see for anyone with the slightest bit of interest in all things Military or Space orientated.
Not only a great display of militaria, satellite & space exploration but also of Len Beadell OAM BEM FIEMS who was a surveyor, roadbuilder, bushman, artist and author, responsible for opening up the last remaining isolated desert areas of central Australia from 1947 to 1963.
